Listen, team: One of the most important elections of our lifetime is just two weeks away.
Our lives are at stake, and this race is incredibly close.
While Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans try to court voters to follow their white supremacist agenda — which calls for mass deportations, the destruction of our immigration system, and will destroy our rights and freedoms — we know that we have the people power to block them. We CAN and MUST mobilize people to vote against them.
UWDA made the strategic and difficult decision to endorse Vice President Kamala Harris and Governor Tim Walz because we know we must do everything we can to defeat Trump. Electing Harris and Walz is how we create the best political conditions for us to continue building power and organizing for the next four years.
This isn’t about relying on one politician to save us — it’s about voting for the conditions that allow us to live and fight another day, and continue applying pressure on our elected officials to center progressive policies and our Youth Agenda in their work.
Let’s BFFR: Politicians won’t save us. WE will save us. But in order to do that, we need, at a minimum, an administration that isn’t devising a fascist playbook to deport our communities, revoke our freedoms, and make it nearly impossible for us to continue organizing.
We NEED to elect Kamala Harris and Tim Walz. Not for them, but for us.
