Higher Heights would like to wish all the mothers, grandmothers, aunts, godmothers, step-moms, and mother-figures a very Happy Mother's Day, and thank you for being Black women who lead. Today we salute you.

We hope you will join us today for our special Mother's Day edition of Sunday Brunch with Higher Heights, hosted by #TheSipHour. "The Sip" continues to be our special virtual programming space where we can gather and be in community as we move through this difficult time with the uncertainties surrounding coronavirus.

Tune in today at 2 pm E.T., as our hosts reflect on the important women in their lives.

We also invite you to honor the special woman in your life and take part in GirlTrek's, #DaughtersOf social media campaign. Our colleagues at GirlTrek are spearheading this multifaceted-initiative on Mother’s Day weekend, to examine the immediate and critical importance of self-care and healing for Black women through the lens of their matrilineal traditions.  It is a call for a mass rejuvenation through the sharing of our stories on hope, healing and happiness.
