This month, it is important to ground ourselves in the fact that abortion is not only normal, it is essential. We know that every time abortion’s popularity has been tested, it has won. There is no reasonable abortion ban because personal medical decisions, including the decision to terminate a pregnancy, should be left to individuals, not politicians. Any attempt to restrict abortion is an attack on personal freedom, autonomy, and reproductive rights.
