Fellow activist, we wanted to make sure you saw this recent article by the Washington Post.

As the article points out, Pennsylvania is one of the key swing states with the most electoral votes, so in order to win the Presidency, you must first win PA.

In 2016, Trump won the state with less than a percentage point. In 2020, President Biden won with a margin of 1.2 percentage points. And this year will be no different:

Polling shows that the state is “in a statistical dead heat.”

You don’t have to take it just from the polls. The presidential campaigns have spent hundreds of millions of dollars targeting PA voters, and “rare is the day that Harris or Trump, or their running mates, Gov. Tim Walz of Minnesota or Sen. JD Vance of Ohio, are not somewhere in the state. Often two of the four are there.”

PA being a key battleground state is not news to us. That is why team NPP has been out all year long working to register Pennsylvanians and mobilize voters, centering Black, Indigenous, and other people of color, immigrant communities, and the youth. We know what’s at stake and we are working around the clock to ensure that voters have everything they need to turn out and make their voices heard.

We are only two weeks away from this historic election, and we need your help to turn voters out to the polls. This race is going to be CLOSE, and we need all hands on deck. Will you rush $25 or more to support our critical organizing programs today?
