Today marks the 60th anniversary of the FDA approval of the birth control pill — changing our country, the world, and the very way we live.

One pill has literally reshaped the lives of women, men, and families everywhere by allowing women to plan their own futures in ways they never could before it was available and accessible.

Now — in the year 2020! — we are just days removed from the latest attempt by the GOP to allow employers to deny birth control coverage because of personal or religious objections.

On Wednesday, the Supreme Court heard oral arguments in Trump v. Pennsylvania, a case that could have far-reaching implications for the provision of the Affordable Care Act that expands coverage for contraception for over 60 million women nationwide. You read that right — 60 million.

It’s shocking and appalling that in the midst of a public crisis, Donald Trump and his administration are attacking access to reproductive health care for millions of women.

If you agree that reproductive freedom and access to contraception should not be dictated by the personal beliefs of employers, add your name to our petition today. You can do so right here:

We must speak up now to condemn what would be a tragic setback for the fight for women’s health and equality everywhere. Sign your name today.

Thanks for taking action.
