As we get ready for the spookiest night of the year, the abortionsphere reminds us that there is nothing scarier than the constant attacks on our bodily autonomy and freedom! We’ve been busy sewing the final touches on our costumes, but we’re never too busy to bring you the abortion news and happenings that everyone should know! Texas: Hands Off Our Private…Information!
Though it should have never even been considered, a federal judge did the right thing and ruled Texas abortion funds don’t have to give client and staff personal information to the state, as requested. We’re sure the state of Texas had a logical reason for wanting this information other than to harass and intimidate people seeking and assisting with abortions, but we sure as hell can’t think of one.

Fake Clinics Want to Know What Now??
For all of the medical professionals out there: did part of your training include which Bible passages to reference to your patients? No? Guess you didn’t work at a fake clinic! These unlicensed, non-medical, anti-abortion “clinics” (not bound by HIPAA, of course) ask clients for their religious beliefs, what their partner thinks of them having an abortion, and even schedule repeat ultrasound appointments if the person seems like they may choose abortion!

The Case That Never Dies (Though Our Patience For It Certainly Has)
Three conservative states – Idaho, Kansas, and Missouri – just filed an amended suit in the Mifepristone case, Alliance for Hippocratic Medicine v. the FDA. This lawsuit aims to roll back  the FDA's 2016 changes that made it easier to get mifepristone by mail. It also aims to undo the FDA's approval of a generic version of the drug AND the requirement that providers be physicians and require follow-up visits with patients! Fun fact: none of these jabronis were even involved in the original case – they just want to make sure that their arguments are heard by Supreme Asshole US District Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk! We’re not attorneys, but we’re pretty sure that if you only have a chance of success if you choose the judicial equivalent of Count Dracula… you’re probably the monster.
