Maybe you’ve seen my face on your television recently in my new Netflix show, Nobody Wants This. (Or maybe you still remember me from my early days on The OC.)
While I just play a rabbi on TV, in real life I also wrestle with the questions of morality and integrity – and I’m thinking about who will uphold these values for me, my family, and all Americans as we approach the most consequential election of our lives. As a father with two young kids, the most important issue I’m voting for this election is ending the uniquely American gun violence epidemic.
Gun violence is the number one cause of death of kids in the United States. No other high-income country lives like this. It is an absolute disgrace, and it’s uniquely the fault of those standing in the way of obvious solutions that would save lives – that’s why we have to do everything in our power to oust these NRA-bought politicians in November.
Brady PAC is strategically targeting the “Freshman Five” – five of the gun lobby’s worst goons serving their first term in Congress, running for re-election in the country’s most competitive districts in Wisconsin, Arizona, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and New York.
That’s why I’m reaching out today, friend. The folks at Brady PAC are working tirelessly to elect gun violence prevention champions across the ballot and if they’re going to succeed in life-saving change, they need all of our help – before it’s too late.

Victory in these states means giving Kamala Harris and Tim Walz a life-saving majority in Congress so they can pass meaningful legislation from day one.
We only have a few weeks left until the most consequential election of our lives. What each of us does between now and the election will make the difference between living in a country based on integrity and morality or one ruled by absurdity and cowardice.
