Today, I have a truly awesome job.
I get to report back on the success of last month’s Back-to-School campaign. More importantly, I’m also writing this email to make sure the thanks of our entire team makes its way to you!
Here’s why I’m excited to give you an update and share our gratitude:
Thanks to your generosity and prayers, together we raised $107,432.82, exceeding our goal! When paired with the $100,000 Challenge Grant, that means we were able to raise a total of $207,432.82 in support of moms and families as kids headed back to school.
This season was an incredible reminder of the milestones that we believe every child deserves to experience: starting their first day of school, making new friends, learning new things, and growing up to fulfill God’s purpose for their lives.
A sobering reality that I know likely touched you during last month’s campaign is that abortion robs 3,000 preborn children of these experiences every day — that’s roughly the equivalent of six elementary schools of preborn lives lost each day.
That’s why last month’s goal was about so much more than a dollar amount. Your heart for this mission will reach the next mom seeking an abortion with the love of Christ, empowering her to choose life.
The news I want to share with you today isn’t just that you’ve helped meet a Challenge Grant, it’s that you’ve helped fill classrooms that would’ve been empty! In fact, your giving over the past several weeks has ensured that more than six classrooms worth of children can now be saved from abortion.
Because of your generosity, a mom seeking an abortion right now will someday be celebrating this time of year. She’ll get to pick out school supplies and share in her child’s excitement for the first day of school. What an incredible difference you’ve made for that family!
Thank you once again for your remarkable generosity and compassion this back-to-school season. I love the way you show up for moms and their babies! You did an amazing thing, and I pray this email brings great encouragement to your kind heart.
