Folks, in this email, I’m going to ask you to contribute to my re-election campaign, [[link removed]] because we’re coming down to the wire and need our GOTV program to be firing on all cylinders.
But I have to tell you: I don’t really like doing this.
Seriously — ask my campaign team. They would be the first to tell you that I just don’t enjoy sending fundraising emails. More often than not, I’m asking my online fundraising team to make changes and edits, because it really matters to me how we communicate with one another. And we all know that this work is incredibly important. Your contributions (yes, yours!) are directly responsible for our ability to get ads on the air, send informative mailers out to voters, and run strong organizing and volunteer programs to knock on doors and make phone calls all across Virginia — without which, we would not be able to secure the strong Democratic victories we need to keep making progress.
