FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

**CEDARDALE ROAD #70550 WILL WILL BE CLOSED  AT MILEPOST 0.988 (Fisher Creek) FROM OCTOBER 28, 2024, THROUGH APPROXIMATELY OCTOBER 16, 2025.**

*Interwest Construction Incorporated will be resuming the project to replace the current culvert and fish ladder with a pre-cast concrete single-span bridge beginning Monday, October 28, 2024  and continuing into October 2025. The project had been delayed since last July due to unforeseen underground utility issues.*

*Skagit County was able to secure 100% funding **for this project **via a Promoting Resilient Operation for Transformative, Efficient, and Cost Saving Transportation (PROTECT) Grant. *

*The road will be closed to all vehicles, including emergency vehicles.*

*For the safety of all road users and workers we ask the public to please respect the closure and its signage.*
