With 15 days left until the election (wow!!), I wanted to share this recent graphic from Axios highlighting how we’ve been singled out and targeted by Speaker Mike Johnson as one of his top priority districts to flip. It really highlights how heavily national Republicans are investing against us (and a few of my other colleagues):

Mike Johnson and national Republican Super PACs have now funneled over $2 million into the Hudson Valley to help my opponent flip this seat. That’s in addition to the outside spending we’ve been facing from the Koch brothers and other Republican-aligned groups.

As I’m sure you’re now seeing, we have our ads on TV, on radio, on streaming platforms, and online — so we are getting our positive message out and combating this outside spending (in my recent debate with my opponent our ad was the FIRST ad that aired during a commercial break 💪).

But we expect their spending to ramp up significantly over the final 2 weeks, so it’s essential we keep up our fundraising to be able to push back.

We raised nearly $7.5 million toward my campaign so far, thanks to thousands of strong supporters in the Hudson Valley and across the country. But we’re down to the final days, and we’re counting on additional support to raise what we need to keep our ads on the air. To be exact, we need to raise $104,723 from grassroots donors before November 5th to execute our budget.
