It’s Congressman Robert Garcia. Over the weekend, I made a pretty difficult decision, and I need to share it with you.

As Freshman Class President of the Democrats, I have been working hard to support fellow Freshman Democrats across the country — making sure they have the resources and support they need to win their first re-election campaigns. Because I believe we MUST hold every House seat in order to flip the House blue.

Over the weekend, I had a serious discussion with my campaign team about our finances. Here’s the deal: We have been running low on cash. But with the House majority up for grabs, we needed to urgently support other races so Democrats continue to have a chance at flipping the majority blue.

With our fundraising slow down, it wasn't an easy decision. After all, I am also up for re-election next month. But I approved the expense because it’s what we needed to do to help stop another two years of MAGA control in the House.

But I also approved the expense because I bet on this grassroots team, knowing you will help fill the budget gap. That’s how much faith I have in this team.

So, on the heels of my difficult budget decision, I’m asking:
