![]() Do you want to know what keeps me up at night, friend? Thinking about the world we’re passing along to our children. My grandparents and my parents worked hard and passed along opportunities to me. Their sacrifices and courage are the reason why I was able to go to college, become an engineer, and serve my community. They are the reason I was able to achieve my American Dream. And now, I'm teaching my kids to live the same way – to dream big and always stand up for themselves. But these days, the American Dream is out of reach for more and more families. Too many Oregonians are priced out of their communities or unable to afford a home. And our fundamental rights – to vote, to access reproductive health care, and so much more – are increasingly under attack. Extreme politicians like my opponent, Lori Chavez-DeRemer, are taking away our freedoms instead of protecting them. As a mom, this fight is personal. I'm in this race for my kids, for my community, and to pass on opportunity and a better life to our children.
With gratitude, Janelle |
