Polls show that a majority of voters back Amendment 3, Missouri’s constitutional amendment that will protect our fundamental reproductive rights, including a right to abortion until fetal viability.
The measure even has the support of many Republicans throughout Missouri. This is especially true in my race: as our campaign is focusing on talking to voters directly at their homes, folks of all political affiliations tell us that they are sick of the chaos and extremism and want their rights protected.
But MAGA extremists have already said that they won’t accept the outcome of the vote for Amendment 3 (or, in some states, the outcome of the entire election).
And they have openly stated that, if reproductive rights were restored and Amendment 3 is passed by the voters, they will still do everything they can to undermine the result and take away our rights.
