Happy Mother's Day!

Right now, moms everywhere are holding society together as we weather this pandemic. So we put together a little video to show our gratitude for moms and mother figures and their tireless work!

Dear John,

Moms are amazing. They love us, raise us, teach us, comfort us.

This year, Mother's Day is likely to look different than it has in the past—many of us will be celebrating from a distance. But that's all the more reason to speak up about how much mothers mean to us.

Right now especially, moms are doing extraordinary things.

• Moms with young kids are working triple shifts as teachers, home chefs, and household providers.
• Countless moms are also serving as caregivers for extended family and vulnerable members of their communities.
• Many of the health care professionals and essential workers we rely on are also moms who are sacrificing time with their families in order to be there for the rest of us.

Moms are, as one of our Live Your Dream Award recipients said, "women who masquerade as mere mortals every day, performing superhuman feats without a cape."

In honor of the superhero moms everywhere who are holding families, communities, and the world together right now, THANK YOU and HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!
