AK Sports Shorts storytelling event Oct 24 brings to life tales of inspiration and adventure

A musher, a UFC fighter and a ninja warrior walk into a bar. OK, not a bar per se, more of a theater pub. The Bear Tooth Theatrepub, to be precise. On Thursday, Oct. 24, seven athletes and adventurers will gather on stage for AK Sports Shorts, an evening of storytelling to benefit Healthy Futures, a program of the Alaska Sports Hall of Fame. Supporting the Game Changer

Proceeds from AK Sports Shorts benefit the Healthy Futures Game Changer efforts to get Alaska kids in the game by providing small grants to youth from low income families to increase their access to sports and recreation.
