Hi John, I won’t exaggerate the stakes or employ tricks, gimmicks, or hyperbole. I will lay out the stakes of the upcoming election, particularly when it comes to voting rights.

In November, we have a choice. At every level of government there are Democrats who want to protect the rights of our most vulnerable and safeguard our democracy. These individuals are running against Republicans who want to further marginalize our most vulnerable while letting the safety rails of our democracy fall into complete disrepair.

We have faced this choice before, and the values we believe in don’t always prevail. But we have the opportunity to put in the work to help protect our people and our democracy.

That’s a fight worth fighting.
