Hi John, it’s Carole King 🎶 and I personally wrote this email.

I first visited New Hampshire in the early 1960s when I learned to ski in lace-up leather ski boots with cable bindings. And I have friends in Manchester that I’ve been visiting for decades.

Their neighbor, Joyce Craig, was the first woman elected mayor of Manchester in 2017. And now Joyce is running for governor of New Hampshire.

Will you join me in helping Joyce Craig get her message out to everyone in New Hampshire whose vote she hopes to earn?

Joyce has executive experience, a record of improving people’s lives, and common sense. When I spoke to her recently, she said, “I want every child in my state to receive a quality public education. Republicans are diverting public tax money to vouchers for private education. Public dollars should go to public schools.”

I agree. Do you?

Elected Republicans such as former Senator Kelly Ayotte and the current governor of New Hampshire have fallen in line behind the wannabe dictator who lies and denies what we’ve seen with our own eyes. (The rhymes were unintentional, but the point is factual.)

The leader of the cruelty caucus has had so many conflicting positions on women’s health care that even he doesn’t remember them.

Joyce’s position is clear. She stands up for people and their rights. It’s why she released a comprehensive plan to protect reproductive health care in New Hampshire.

With Republican legislators’ relentless attacks on personal liberties, Granite Staters need a governor who will stand up for their rights and freedoms.

What about jobs? Ensuring that hardworking families have good-paying local jobs is personal for Joyce. Her dad was a union electrician who had to work in another state because there were no jobs where they lived.

“It’s heartbreaking for kids when a parent can’t find work close to home,” Joyce said. “We have to do better!”

Will you help elect Joyce so she can take action to help families succeed?

John, if you’re exhausted by the chaos and mean-spirited rhetoric, our best path forward is to elect people of good will up and down the ballot.

Joyce has been a successful mayor for six years. She’s running for governor because she wants to help people throughout New Hampshire live their best lives.

Will you contribute whatever you can afford to elect Joyce Craig?

Thank you for participating in this election in whatever ways you can. If you can’t afford to donate, volunteer.

My best wishes, always, to you and your family.
