Hello,

In what's being called "Mitch McConnell's worst idea maybe ever" by The Washington Post (and that's saying a lot), Mitch has proposed that federal funding should be cut off to states fighting the coronavirus and that instead, states should file for bankruptcy.

It's an insane idea that would not only put teachers, fire fighters, health care workers, and pensions all at risk, but could have deadly consequences.

Of course, Mitch McConnell found trillions of dollars for big corporations and the companies his campaign donors own. But now that everyday families are at risk of losing everything, Mitch is once again pointing to the federal deficit he exploded with his tax giveaways to the rich as an excuse for being a terrible human being.

Luckily, Mitch McConnell is up for reelection in 2020. Luckily, Democrat Amy McGrath is tied with Mitch in the polls. Nate Silver says he thinks Amy can win. And we've even been outraising and outspending Mitch McConnell for the first time ever.

But a new Super PAC with ties to McConnell just bought nearly $11 million in TV ads to try to protect Mitch and his Senate majority, and with less than a week to go, we're still falling incredibly short of our $500,000 mid-month goal and what we need to fight back.

This is a critical moment. If we're going to hit our goal and defeat Mitch McConnell once and for all, we are counting on grassroots donors like you to give right now:

Please, can you click here and chip in $5 or more right now - whatever you can afford before our deadline - to help Amy McGrath defeat Mitch McConnell this November? No amount is too small, and every dollar you give today will go directly to helping us send McConnell packing.

We can put an end to Mitch McConnell's political career. But we can only do it together.

Thanks so much for your support,
