Registering to vote in 2024 is about more than just getting to vote in the presidential election (though this race is super important!). This year, control of the State House and State Senate is at stake.
Every year, millions of Americans find themselves unable to vote because they miss a registration deadline, don’t update their registration, or aren’t sure how to register. Voters need to register or update their registration for reasons such as moving to a new address, turning 18, becoming a citizen, or changing their name.
And if you’re all ready to vote, forward this email to five friends and encourage them to check their registration, especially to anyone who: - Recently turned 18 (or knows people who did!)
- Recently moved
- Is currently in college away from home
- Got married or changed their names!
- Truly ANY and everyone – everyone should check their registration!
