Team — I’m at a bit of a loss.

I’m wracking my brain trying to figure out why we can’t hit our goals, and what I can do or say to turn that around.

I’m only trying to raise what I need to defeat Kari Lake, but my campaign has made deep cuts over the last few weeks because we’ve fallen short of just about every single daily fundraising goal that we’ve set.

At this point, we’re cutting to the bone. Every day comes with another tough choice: do we divert resources here, do we try to make due with less there, do we double down and hope this turns around… and these aren’t the kind of decisions you want to be making late in the race.

You want to be on the offense. You want to be aggressive, because that’s what it’s going to take to defeat Kari Lake. I’m hoping there’s still a chance that we can get back on the right foot, and fast, because our window to reach the voters we need is closing.

So, look. I’m not asking for much. I know what it means to work hard for every dollar you earn. And I hope you never feel like you need to give anything more than you can afford.

But if you can, I’m asking you to chip in $5. If you can do more than that, it’s absolutely welcome. But $5 is all I’m asking for. With your $5 and a ton of other folks joining you, these add up fast. Please.
