Please, join me in demanding that Congress prioritize working families and small businesses over corporate interests. >>
Team,
Here in Upstate New York, small businesses are central to our economy and our sense of community. Our family farmers, main street businesses, and local vendors and restaurants take care of us, and it’s our job to make sure we support them in moments of crisis.
But after the first round of Paycheck Protection Program payments were rolled out, it became clear that our small businesses were losing out to big corporations.
Business giants depleted economic relief funds, leaving local small businesses struggling to stay afloat and keep our communities employed.
That's why I’m calling on you today to stand with me and demand that Washington gets this right and prioritizes the needs of small businesses and working families above corporations.
Washington has been working great for big corporations for decades while small businesses have been left behind. Friends, since I got to Congress, I’ve been fighting each day to change that culture.
If you agree that it’s long overdue that the rest of America gets the support they need, I hope you’ll take a stand with me.
