John, there is no time to waste.
We have 15 days until Election Day, and folks are already voting to choose our next president. If that’s enough to motivate you to sign up for a volunteer shift to support Kamala and Tim, you can use this link to get started.
We have a chance to elect someone who has spent her life fighting on behalf of people who need a voice and a chance. Somebody who was raised in the middle class; who worked a summer job at McDonald’s while she earned a degree; who believes in the values that built this country. Somebody who has served with distinction in every office that she has ever held.
Kamala is as prepared for the job as any nominee for president has ever been.
Now it’s up to all of us to join her in the fight for the America we believe in. And make no mistake: it will be a fight. For all the incredible energy we’ve been able to generate over the last few months, this will still be a tight race.
This election is going to be very close -- a handful of votes in a single precinct in Pennsylvania could decide the winner -- which is why I am asking you to make some calls or knock on a couple doors for Kamala’s campaign:
The people who haven’t made up their minds yet about who they’re voting for or whether to vote -- here’s what I know about them: They want to hear from you.
The truth is, John, the most powerful voice in any election is yours. Neighbors talking to neighbors -- that’s how our politics is supposed to work. That’s how we win. Ordinary people sharing their hopes, their dreams, their reasons for voting -- maybe with a close friend or relative, maybe with a perfect stranger -- and being reminded once again that we all have a stake in one another.
So, I am counting on you, John. The work we do right now will determine the outcome on November 5. That is why I am personally asking you to sign up for a volunteer shift today.
Let’s get to work,
Barack
