President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo have gone full conspiracy theory, saying there is now “significant” and “enormous” evidence that proves COVID was created in a Chinese lab.
When asked what the proof was, POLITICO reports Trump responded, “I’m not allowed to tell you that.”
Trump’s own intelligence officials disagree with his story. And now Democrats are calling Trump’s bluff, with House Intelligence Committee chairman Adam Schiff saying the administration is either lying or withholding information from Congress.
