The responses we’ve received since suspending our campaign has been absolutely remarkable. All of the encouragements, condolences, and heartfelt statements have been overwhelming in the best of ways. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard alongside us to make this campaign a literal movement.

You have stuck by our campaign through so much adversity, oppression and even a pandemic, and I couldn’t be more grateful for you.

We were waiting to share this campaign ad until after we made the ballot that Jeremy Flood from Floodlight Productions developed for us. I’d like to share it with you now because the message it embodies remains relevant today.

We set out to build a grassroots campaign from the onset and the result has been more powerful than I could’ve ever imagined. I’ve had to lean hard on so many of you and time and time again you answered the call.

And now I have to rely on you once more.

You have probably met Hayley, Chris, Amelia and/or Vicente either in person, over the phone, or via email. Either way, they helped keep this campaign together through so much hard work and dedication. Their work deserves to be rewarded and I need your help in doing that.

After factoring in our legal expenses, we still need to raise another $10K so I can pay my staff through the end of the month. Like for so many of you, there aren’t a whole lot of safety nets available for campaign staff, but I know if we all pool together for one final push, we can get there.

Please contribute whatever you can afford so our staff can have a fighting chance to land on their feet during these trying times.
