I’m sure you’re getting a whole lot of emails like these asking for donations. And believe me – I understand that you can’t give to every one. If you’ll let me, I want to make my case for why we could really use your help in Nevada today.

Some people have the impression that Democrats are guaranteed to win Nevada. That couldn’t be further from the truth. 

Nevada is a true swing state – and experts are even calling it the “most perilous” battleground on the map. Our races always come down to thin margins, and the last Senate election here was the closest in the entire country.

The worst thing we could do right now is take Nevada for granted and let our fundraising dry up.

We have a big midnight deadline tonight and if our numbers keep slowing down at this rate, the GOP will take it as a clear sign to bombard us with last-minute spending on top of the $60 MILLION they’re already pouring into this state – and they will totally overpower my campaign.

We’ve worked so hard to build momentum, and I’d hate to let them undo all of our progress in one fell swoop. So please, if you can spare it, $5 would go a long way – especially when we all chip in.
