Dear John --
Chris Luxon and the National team are working hard to get New
Zealand’s economy back on track, and the good news is that we are
starting to see positive results.
I was pleased to see the OCR
reduce to 4.75% and annual inflation drop to
2.2%.
It’s a sign that the Government’s economic
plan is putting downward pressure on interest rates, which is crucial
for Kiwi families and businesses.
This is
happening because National won the last election.
The
Party is now at a critical moment again, as it begins to prepare for
the political fights ahead– while Chris and his team need to focus on
the task of getting the country heading in the right
direction.
