John,
We recently launched the We Decide Voter Guide nationally, which has all the information you need to vote pro-choice at every level of the ballot. This includes seats that can be difficult to research, like judges and DAs.
Millions of votes have already been cast in critical states that we’ve focused on for years, including Georgia, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania.
When voters turn-out for down-ballot races, the entire ticket benefits. These races could have a major impact on the outcome of the presidential election.
I wanted to take a moment to highlight a few of our pro-choice champions in North Carolina, who are working to shift the balance of power and restore abortion rights:
-
Kim Sexton-Lewter, running for NC State Senate District 34, has led reproductive healthcare education campaigns in her community and has served for decades as a college campus health administrator.
-
Martin Moore, running for NC State Court of Appeals - Seat 15, is the youngest candidate on the state-wide ballot, running against a self-described “Christian conservative.”
-
Jon Berger, running for NC State House District 20, is in an incredibly tight race against an incumbent who voted for the state’s abortion ban—backtracking on a campaign promise not to.
We’re supporting candidates like these all over the country, and you can find all of them in our We Decide Voter Guide.
If you’ve already made your voting plan and want to amplify your impact this cycle, consider supporting our work to provide educational resources to pro-choice voters in key districts and states.
We’re grateful to be in this work with you!
My best,
Carly LeQuire
