The huge ad buys against Elissa Slotkin force us to reckon with a very uncomfortable potential outcome:

If Republicans win in Michigan, Donald Trump is going to be the next president and he is going to have a Republican Senate. There will be virtually no check on his power.

We are sorry to put that thought into your head, but that is the reality.

The good news is, we are not without power in making sure that outcome never comes to pass. Elections are not something to sit back and witness - they are something we can shape.
