Williams Weekly
Dear Texans,
It's been another busy week in the district fighting to uphold the values that matter most to you. Read below for more on my work serving Texans.
Stand With Israel
It remains clear that the Biden-Harris appeasement strategy is not working. While this administration was negotiating with terrorists, Israel acted with courage to eliminate the leader of Hamas who brought evil and suffering upon thousands of Israeli men, women, and children. The war cannot end until the terrorist group Hamas is no longer a threat to Israel or the world. May God continue to bless our closest ally in this fight. Now more than ever, America must stand strong with Israel.
Violent Crime Under Biden-Harris
This administration has continuously touted false numbers to argue violent crime has declined under their leadership. A previously reported 2.1% decrease in violent crimes has now been revised to show a 4.5% increase. While deadly crime surges across the country due to Democrats’ soft-on-crime policies, failed bail reform, open borders, and defund the police movement, House Republicans are committed to restoring law and order.
AgTexas Farm Credit Services Roundtable
I had the opportunity to join the AgTexas Farm Credit Services Roundtable this week to meet with leadership to hear about issues important to them, and give an update on my work in Washington to provide resources to our nation’s farmers and ranchers.
Institute for Supply Chain Management
Biden and Harris' economic failures have caused a broken supply chain resulting in devastating labor shortages and skyrocketing inflation. This week I joined the Institute for Supply Chain Management's monthly meeting to answer questions and brief them on my work in D.C. fighting for Main Street.
In Case You Missed It!
By every measure, this administration continues to fail its duty to the American people. From open borders and a failed economy to a catastrophic emergency response by FEMA, Biden-Harris' America last agenda is unacceptable. I joined Newsmax and WBAP to discuss.
In God we trust,
Roger Williams
