John,
Need a little help navigating some difficult conversations at the dinner table this election season?
We wanted to share this helpful guide with you, as someone who cares deeply about refugees and asylum seekers. →
EXCLUSIVE GUIDE FOR IRC SUPPORTERS:
How to talk to your friends and family about refugees and asylum seekers >>
We hope you can use this guide to facilitate positive conversations and share important facts about refugees and asylum seekers with your friends and family.
The International Rescue Committee plays a vital role in welcoming and providing resettlement and integration services for refugees and asylum seekers, including those from Afghanistan.
The Hussaini family—from Afghanistan and pictured above—received critical services, including housing support, from the IRC to help get settled into their new life in Salt Lake City, Utah.
They also received legal assistance to bring three of their daughters—who got separated during their evacuation—safely to the United States. 💛
The IRC operates 29 offices across the U.S. to welcome and support newly arrived families by providing immediate aid, including food, housing, medical attention, legal services and more.
Your compassionate support helps to make this powerful and positive work possible. Thank you for all you do.
