Today is a big day, John!

It's my good friend Kamala Harris's birthday, and I've been doing a lot of thinking about what gift would be best for her this year. It's hard enough coming up with gift ideas for friends and family, but it's even harder when your friend is the sitting Vice President and Democratic nominee for President.

Then I remembered, she's already told me what she wants for her Birthday!

Right-wing politicians like Governor Reynolds, and her extremist majority in the legislature, have a lot of dirty tricks for obstructing a Kamala Harris Presidential agenda. We saw it this summer when Kim Reynolds played politics with hungry kids and refused federal funding for summer nutrition programs purely because it came from a Democratic administration.

The same thing could happen to a potential Harris administration.

Kamala has plans to protect social security, expand Medicare access, and increase housing affordability across the country and here in Iowa, but none of that can happen when extremists are running the show in Des Moines.
