When we focus on the world and the things of it, we will get caught up with hurry, anxiety, and pressure. We carry burdens of doing enough and keeping up with those around us.
Things move so fast and it feels impossible to keep up. This is not what God intends for us!
Jesus promised that even when He rose to Heaven, He would leave the Holy Spirit to live in us. That is where we find peace.
When we allow Jesus into our hearts we can find that peace that surpasses all understanding. We begin to see the bigger picture and we do not let the worries of this world hold us down - He lifts our eyes to Him.
He has given us His peace, all we have to do is receive it and let it give us rest and hope.
