I want to be very clear about something, John:

When Ted Cruz says he's "pro-life," he's not talking about your life.

He's not talking about those who have had to flee Texas to get the reproductive care they needed.

Or those who had complications in their pregnancies and were denied care so long that they may never be able to get pregnant again.

Or the 26,000 Texas women who have had to give birth to their rapist's child.

All of these horrific experiences are happening right now, right here in Texas. And it's all because of Ted Cruz's abortion ban – a law that he has called "perfectly reasonable."

But none of this is reasonable. This is not freedom.

My wife, Aly, and I had two baby boys here in Dallas in the last five years. And I can't imagine having a doctor come in and say that there's health complications with the baby, or with Aly, but there's nothing they can do – because Ted Cruz thinks he knows better than their medical expertise.

So my promise to you is this: When I'm in the U.S. Senate, we will restore the fundamental freedom to make your own health care decisions.

We will make Roe v. Wade the law of the land again.

And we will make these horrific stories unfolding all over Texas something of the past.

But to get there, I need your immediate help. The latest polling shows this race locked neck and neck, which means this is the best shot we've ever had at finally firing Ted Cruz. But his mega donor allies are flooding Texas with $34 million to pummel me with attack ads, and I'm running out of time to fight back before Election Day.

Please, can I count on you to rush $5 or more – any amount will make a difference in these final 16 days – to defeat Ted Cruz and restore reproductive rights here in Texas and across the country?
