James, I remember the devastation I felt upon learning that Roe v. Wade had been officially overturned. It’s one of those moments that I will remember clearly for as long as I live.

I knew that I couldn’t sit idly by as women across the country suffered from the archaic rules and policies of MAGA extremists. But, I also knew from my work as governor of Illinois that the organizations to defend and expand reproductive rights already existed in every single state.

I founded Think Big America to ensure that reproductive rights organizers would have the funding and support they need to fight back against MAGA extremists.

In 2023, our team poured resources into Ohio’s first-of-its-kind ballot initiative to restore abortion rights and we won.

Now, we know one of the strongest paths to restoring abortion rights is to get them on the ballot and let the people decide.

So today, we are putting everything we’ve got into supporting ballot initiative efforts in Arizona, Nevada, Florida, and more to restore abortion rights just like we did in Ohio.

Unfortunately, MAGA extremists noticed.
