The most commonly asked question I’ve gotten during this campaign is “Hung,
why did you decide to run?”

And the answer is simple: I did it for my family.

Everything I do, I do for my wife, my five children, and my new, beautiful
granddaughter.

Family means EVERYTHING to me. I was raised by parents who risked their lives
escaping Vietnam before the communists took over and came to America to give me
a life of opportunity.

Every day, I thank God for my parents’ sacrifice. And now, I lead my family by
the same example.

I served on the front lines in combat for 25 years in the Navy because I
wanted to make sure our freedoms were alive for the next generation.

We spent many birthdays, holidays, and firsts apart, but it was worth it
because I knew I was protecting the American Dream for the people I loved.

Now, the American Dream is in danger, but not just from enemies abroad. In
fact, the most important battle is happening right here in our own nation.

I’m running for the U.S. Senate to SAVE the American Dream from socialism, and
