Hello JOhn,
We recently launched a new side to
our Equality Now Recommends newsletter, a series of cozy conversations
with some of our favorite authors, filmmakers, journalists, and more,
all hosted by Equality Now’s board member, Patricia Amira.
We hope you will join us for our
next session in this series: At home with Vicky Pryce
on Thursday, May 14 at 12pm EST/5pm GMT.
Vicky Pryce is Chief Economic Adviser and a board
member at the Centre for Economics and Business Research (CEBR). She
holds a number of academic posts and is a Fellow and Council member of
the UK Academy for Social Sciences, a Fellow of the Society of
Professional Economists and a Companion of the British Academy of
Management. She is also a Patron of the charities Pro-Bono Economics
and Working Chance. Some of her books include: Greekonomics:
The Euro crisis and Why Politicians Don't Get It, It's
the Economy, Stupid-
Economics for Voters, Prisonomics,
and her latest book, Women
vs Capitalism, published in 2019. She is a frequent contributor to media
broadcasts and debates on the economy and on the economic rationale
for gender equality.
We look forward to seeing you on
Thursday, May 14 and take a look at the other upcoming speakers
in the At Home With
Series!
In solidarity,
Emma
