The Anthony Clark 2020 Campaign hopes this message finds you well. You haven't heard from us in awhile as last week, while leaving a campaign event on his bike, Anthony was struck by a driver who then drove off! Recovery has been tough & surgery is scheduled for this Friday, but the issues we face are too important to allow an injury to derail the important momentum our movement has built.

Despite his injury, Anthony picked himself up & entered right back into the work as many continue to demand change.

Last weekend, Anthony stood in solidarity with Moms Demand Action & other wonderful organizations in a call for a ban on all assault weapons, universal background checks, & comprehensive gun control. Precious lives continue to be lost due to the inability of representatives to pass legislation, because they place profit before people.

Anthony shared his personal story as a gun violence survivor with PTSD while speaking truth to power in stating that legislation will not be enough, if we don't simultaneously call out & eliminate the pervasive impact of white supremacy in our society.

Today, Anthony joined student leaders in the community who he continues to collaborate with in a push for greater equality within school systems & an end to gun violence.

Understand that Anthony has dedicated his life to this work & nothing will stop his involvement in the collaborative fight for systemic change. The injury may have been a minor setback, but the movement forward continues.

Know that we recognize how hard we all work for our money & that no donation is ever taken in vain.

Donate today to the Anthony Clark 2020 movement & help us get back on track in our march toward victory!
