Election night is coming up in only 17 days, and I’ve been thinking a lot about what it’s going to feel like.
My first thought is: it’s going to be extremely nerve-wracking. This race is so tight and with everything on the line, it’s going to make minutes feel like hours - it’ll be intense watching the results start coming in.
I have my hopes up that we will have a good night, but I also remember what it felt like in 2016 when Democrats lost and Trump was elected. We were sad, angry, and confused. I definitely don’t want to feel that way again.
We need to put everything we’ve got into winning this election while there’s still time to make a difference. I don’t want to wake up the day after the Election and wish we had done more to secure victory in our toss-up race.
