Friend, we’re going to ask you to do something a little unorthodox today.

We’re asking you to forget everything you’ve heard about Arizona. After we won the last few elections here most folks seem to think this state is some kind of cake walk, but nobody mentions this:

There are literally hundreds of thousands more registered Republicans in Arizona than there are Democrats. It takes an absolutely massive effort to persuade them to put their country over their party and vote blue. Victories in Arizona don’t come easy, or cheap.

And to be frank with you, this state is way too close to leave anything to chance.

Ruben’s running a bit ahead of the top of the ticket right now. If we can pull more voters towards Ruben — independent voters, Republican voters, undecideds — there’s a good chance we can pull them away from Trump and defeat him in Arizona, too.

And if we defeat Trump here, Nate Silver says there is a 90+ percent chance we win the White House. Two birds, one stone.

There is no better race to invest whatever you can afford to give at this late stage than Ruben Gallego’s campaign for U.S. Senate. But more voters are turning in their ballots every day, and time is running out to get to them.

So, we’re asking you:

Can you give anything you can spare to Ruben’s campaign before the end of the day? Everything goes towards defeating Lake and Trump right here in Arizona.
