Friend — Last night I debated my Republican opponent, Eric Hovde, and the contrast couldn’t be clearer.

I laid out what I’m doing to address the issues that matter most to Wisconsinites across the state — from restoring reproductive rights and protecting Social Security and Medicare, to taking on corporate greed and building an economy that works for everyone.

Meanwhile, Eric Hovde scrambled to answer for his out-of-touch views and out-of-state interests.

I’m fired up to win this race, but it’s going to take more than a strong debate performance to defend this battleground Senate seat.

From here on out, it’s going to be a sprint to the finish line on November 5th — and whoever has more resources to reach voters with their message will likely come out on top in this toss up race.
