Team —
In a truly weird turn of events, Donald Trump came to Coachella, California, for a campaign rally with less than 25 days to go in this election.
And instead of focusing his speech on telling people what he’d do as president, he spent a lot of his time attacking me in terms we only hear from dictators.
Here’s just a small sample of what he said about yours truly:
“Sleazebag”
“Major lowlife”
“A bad person, a sick person”
Yet again, this is just more of the same attacks he throws at me every chance he gets. Whether he’s at a rally in Iowa, Pennsylvania, Florida, or right here in California, he just can’t stop thinking about me.
But that’s not all he said. He attacked California’s election integrity, setting up future claims of election fraud when he inevitably loses our state.
Even worse, he said as president, he would withhold aid to California in an act of political retribution, in its effort to fight wildfires. Who does that?
The worst thing he said was during an interview on Fox News when he stated that opponents like me were “the enemy within” and that he may need to use the military to go after us.
His constant attacks on me mean that I am doing my job. But when someone tells you what they are going to do — especially someone as depraved as Trump — we need to believe them.
I will never stop standing up to Trump and his allies, but in order for us to fight back, I need you to chip in a split donation between Lisa Blunt Rochester and my campaign now. With less than 17 days left, every effort to reach voters with the truth about Trump’s threat to our democracy is critical.
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately and be split between Adam Schiff and Lisa Blunt Rochester:
Together, let’s show Donald Trump that California doesn’t tolerate bullies.
Thank you,
Adam
