The Economist just released its latest analysis, and it’s down to a coin flip for control of the House. 

That means this election could go either way, and the outcome will be decided by slim margins. 

Here are the two likely scenarios: 

If Democrats win, we’ll flip the House, hold onto our Senate majority, and elect Kamala Harris as our next president. This means we’ll have the chance to finally codify abortion rights into law, and continue to make progress on issues like affordable healthcare, education, and climate change. 

But if Republicans win, Donald Trump will be back in the White House and MAGA House Republicans will help enact his extreme Project 2025 agenda. That means rolling back all the hard-fought gains on healthcare, climate, and democratic protections that Democrats have made in the last few years. We can’t let that happen.
