I’ll be blunt: I am writing you another message today asking you to
contribute to our campaign for president. Fundraising is one of my least
favorite parts of the job if I’m being honest, but it’s a necessary part
because we’re being outraised and outspent like never before.

Here’s how I see it: I’ve
never run for president before. I didn’t start with a massive war chest of
campaign cash. I’m not a billionaire who can self-fund or spend a vast
personal fortune to try to win this primary.

I am someone who has worked for the people my entire career -- standing up
to powerful special interests and bullies like Trump who prey on the most
vulnerable and voiceless in our society.

It’s why I believe I’m the best candidate to prosecute the case against
four more years of Donald Trump in the White House.

But first, we have to win this primary -- and that means ensuring we reach
our mid-month fundraising goal before Friday’s deadline. Now here’s the
