SF Chronicle Endorses Bilal For Supervisor
Hi John,

I'm honored to share that I have received the sole endorsement of the San Francisco Chronicle for District 5 Supervisor. 

The Chronicle echoed how many of us feel — to tackle San Francisco's toughest issues from public safety to homelessness, we need a new approach to governance in District 5, and that starts with change.

This endorsement highlights the deep work we've done — we've studied our city's problems extensively, built coalition support between unlikely groups, including the "Hatfield and McCoys of organized labor," and put forward innovative solutions on homelessness and safety that will get results for all San Franciscans.

The Chronicle notes we "offer the kind of system-level thinking the city needs now to solve its most intractable problems... and would start on Day 1 with an informed plan for action".
Bilal Mahmood is a "...polymath with government experience in the Obama administration as a policy analyst and is a member of the city’s Democratic County Central Committee.

There is no question that among the hundreds of candidates we have spoken to this election season, he is the most impressive on public policy.
