Pramila has been rallying with voters and doing everything possible to help get out the vote.
John,
Voting began yesterday in Washington, and in addition to personally leading door-knocking teams, Pramila has been rallying with voters and doing everything possible to help get out the vote.
We’ve included a recap of some of the past week’s events below. Take a look at what we’ve been up to, and then pitch in $3 to help us keep up this critical outreach work in the final 17 days before Election Day!
On Tuesday Pramila addressed the Machinists Union at their rally in Seattle. They’re currently on strike as they demand better wages, benefits, and pensions from Boeing, and Pramila is proud to stand in solidarity with them. We need to elect Kamala Harris and pro-labor Democrats to Congress on November 5th!
Pramila also had the chance to join an amazing group of seniors raising money for the Harris-Walz campaign and Democrats up and down the ballot. Pramila doesn’t take corporate PAC money — it’s grassroots fundraisers like these that keep our movement going!
This week Pramila also spoke at a “No on 2117” event. Initiative 2117 would allow more pollution across Washington state, threatening our air, waterways and health. And it would slash funding for our state’s transportation plan, cutting transit services and leaving us with more traffic. We need to make sure it’s defeated!
On Thursday, Pramila joined an amazing group of volunteers sending postcards to voters. We haven’t counted all the postcards we filled out yet, but it was several thousand at least. This group’s work is making a big difference as we work to turn out every last voter!
It’s been a busy week, John, and we’re not slowing down until Election Day is behind us.
If you’re with us in the fight to re-elect Pramila, send Kamala Harris to the White House, and retake the House, will you pitch in $3 or anything you can to support our GOTV work in these final few weeks?
