I held a Veterans Service Organization Roundtable earlier this week with Chairman of the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs Rep. Mike Bost. We heard directly from those serving our Veterans and will be working to hold the VA accountable and make sure our Veterans receive the help they need. I appreciate the representatives from the various Veterans Service Organizations attending the Roundtable and sharing their perspectives. My office held a Senior Resource Fair earlier this week in Menifee! I was deeply thankful that so many of our healthcare and other senior service providers attended the event to share information with our residents. I had the pleasure of touring Desert Arc, a nonprofit organization in the Coachella Valley dedicated to providing opportunities to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. I appreciate the impactful work they do in the lives of Coachella Valley families.
