It’s no surprise when numbers are skewed by biased institutions, but it’s especially disappointing when that institution is funded by the taxpayers. This week Americans learned the truth.

FBI Slight of Hand

A popular Democrat talking point for the past year has been that violent crime under the Biden-Harris administration fell by 2.1% from 2021-2022, according to data gathered and previously released by the FBI. These stats have been used by Democrat politicians and the mainstream media to dismiss the concerns of millions of Americans who feel their communities are no longer safe.

This week the FBI very quietly published revised data for the period, which shows what most Americans already knew: violent crime HAS NOT decreased. The report was revised to show a 4.5% increase in violent crime including an additional:

• 1,699 murders
• 7,780 rapes
• 33,459 robberies
• 37,091 aggravated assaults

Under this administration, we’ve become used to egregious abuses of power by federal agencies - the FBI most notably.

Furthermore, the FBI made no revisions to its violent crime reports from 2004-2015 and only minor edits from 2016-2020. This makes the major revisions for 2021 and 2022 even more suspicious and concerning.

Illegal Alien Crime

Other crime data the Biden-Harris administration would rather keep hidden are those committed by illegal aliens. In the past four years, every crime committed by an illegal alien could have been prevented if Biden and Harris had secured our border and enforced U.S. immigration laws.

To cut through the spin and expose the truth, The Heritage Foundation has created a map that tracks crimes committed by illegal immigrants and where they were committed. While this map shows many crimes, it is important to remember that it is not exhaustive and there are unquestionably many thousands more.

Illegal Alien Crime

States like Georgia have been hit particularly hard with the average Georgia household paying $1,078 more per month to purchase the same basket of goods and services as in January 2021. Food, housing, energy, and transportation make up the lion's share of that increase thanks to the policies of the Biden-Harris administration.
