The most important pro-voting victories you probably missed.

Preview of my weekend reading list
Democracy had a good week in court. Put another way, the GOP had a terrible week. Most notably, in several separate cases Georgia judges rejected the election subversion rules and plans hatched by Republicans and the MAGA members of the State Election Board.

But Georgia was only the tip of the iceberg. In cases across the country, courts are standing up to the pressure placed on them by the election deniers and voter suppressors. It is not always perfect, but as we head into the final two weeks of the election, democracy is on the docket, and it is winning.

So, sit back and enjoy a review of the most important pro-voting victories you probably missed.

Federal Judge Dismisses Part of RNC Lawsuit To Disqualify 225K North Carolina Voters ([link removed])

Democracy Docket

Not only are Republicans trying to kick hundreds of thousands of voters off the rolls in North Carolina, but they’re also litigating three other high-profile lawsuits in the Tar Heel State that could have implications for the upcoming election. The other cases target rules concerning absentee ballots, alleged noncitizen voting as well as the eligibility of certain military and overseas voters (one of the GOP’s latest targets).
