Hi, friend — did you catch me on Pod Save America?

I had a great conversation with Tommy Vietor, where we started off by agreeing that, yes, my opponent Rick Scott is perhaps the creepiest and most unpopular Republican Senator in America. And we must defeat him.

With less than three weeks left until Election Day, our campaign is going everywhere and doing everything we can to reach Florida voters. Everywhere I go and every conversation I have reveals the same trend: Floridians are sick and tired of Rick Scott — and that's probably why polls show us statistically tied and his approval ratings completely tanked. 

But Rick Scott is doing what Rick Scott always does: Dropping tens of millions of dollars from his own personal fortune to cling to power. In fact, he's already spent $30 million on ads against me, with the worst yet to come in these final weeks of our campaign. 

I don't have a massive fortune earned in part from Medicare fraud like Rick Scott. What I do have is you, friend, and this people-powered movement. We've got ads of our own we need to keep on the air. We've got voter contact efforts we need to keep up. We've got a campaign that has made Florida in play, and we're on the cusp of winning!
